Sewage can come to the surface and so on and this can cause illnesses Mosquitoes and other such disease-carrying creatures thrive - become, and continue to be, successful, strong, healthy, in still, wet conditions. Homes and vehicles are damaged or destroyed. Electrical plants and other facilities may be disrupted.- to make it difficult for something to continue in the normal way-
